Lamno is a place in Aceh where 40 % of Indonesia coffee come from this place. Lamno location is in north part of Sumatera Island. This place is one contributor for Indonesia position as number 4 of biggest coffee exporter in the world..


Arabica is most prefered type of coffee grown by Lamno people. They process the coffee using traditional method. The process is dry process where the skin of coffee bean removed in dry condition. Roasting process use simple furnace. Coffee is roasted for 1.5 hours. Roasted bean will be pounded to check the quality of roasting process, the quality of good roasted coffee will shown by strong coffee aroma.

Corn is added to enrich the taste. The corn is also roasted for 2 hours before mixing. The composition of mixing is important process and it determines the taste and quality of the coffee.

Lamno coffee is sale in pack of 0.25 kg, 0.5 kg , 1 kg. One of Lamno coffee brand is Kopi Rencong and it is most known coffee brand in Aceh.
